Volunteer
We Need Each Other
The Myasthenia Gravis Society of Canada (MGSC) is a volunteer-based organization. We strive to be diverse and inclusive. MGSC is grateful to all the volunteers that have contributed in the past and would love to add you to our team.
Volunteer on Your Terms
Work from anywhere in Canada! MGSC operates virtually, so all you need is a computer and a willingness to help. Whether you can spare two hours a month or two hours a week, we have meaningful ways for you to contribute. As a safeguard for our community, all potential volunteers are required to complete a criminal record background and vulnerable sector check. We especially welcome volunteers from diverse backgrounds because the MG community we serve is beautifully diverse, too.
You Can Make a Difference
When you volunteer with MGSC, you are not just helping an organization—you are directly improving lives. Your efforts help connect newly diagnosed patients with vital resources, build our community, and ensure no one faces MG alone. Our volunteers often tell us they gain as much as they give: a sense of purpose, new friendships, and the satisfaction of improving the lives of those affected by MG.
Current Opportunities
We are not currently seeking specific roles; however, if you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out to us at mginfo@mgcanada.org
